Brad Lokey comes to Webber International University as the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and Fitness Center Manager. Lokey received both his Associates and Bachelors degree from Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. Between his freshmen year and completion of an Associates degree Lokey served four-years honorably in the United States Marine Corps. After graduation Lokey pursued Personal Training for a few years, realizing that he truly enjoyed helping others he decided to become a Strength & Conditioning Coach. Lokey again returned to CMU for his Bachelors degree and was a two time consecutive Dean’s List honoree. Also during his final semester at CMU Lokey was the Strength & Conditioning Coach for a Frappier Acceleration Program at Peak Performance in Columbia, Missouri which encompassed athletes of all ages and sports. Throughout his career Lokey has competed in football, track & field, power-lifting and bodybuilding. Lokey is now pursuing an MBA in Sport Management Program at WIU. Currently Coach Lokey is a certified and insured member with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), possessing both the Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) credentials. In addition to his credentials he also merited the NSCA Challenge Scholarship for the 2006 school year; one of only twelve received nation wide.
