Moline, Ilinois - In there 5th ever tournament, the women's bowling team made history with it's first win in program history, the Tier II Leatherneck Classic.

In the Leatherneck Classic, the top 4 teams compete in a match play finals, best of 5 Baker.  After qualifying second to the defending National Champions, Wichita State University, the women warriors faced 3rd seed Robert Morris University.  Webber won 3-2 (209-183, 179-162, 177-180, 194-199, 225-171).

After defeating Robert Morris, WIU faced 2009 National Championship runner-ups Lindenwood University, who disposed of defending National Champions Wichita State University, 3-2.

Webber dominated the final and won 3-1 (212-171, 245-173, 183-221, 195-179).
