Babson Park, Fla. - The Webber International University men's tennis team defeated Warner University, 8-1, on the WIU Campus Courts in Babson Park.
The Warriors are now 1-1 overall and 1-0 in The Sun Conference. Warner drops to 0-2 on the season.
Winning in singles for the Warriors were: Philippe Andermatt, Caio Cardoso, Juuso Tapanainen, Heikki Riikonen, and Thiago Marion. The Warriors only loss was at number one singles.
Sweeping the doubles was: Rafael Teixeira and Cardoso, Andermatt and Tapanainen, Riikonen and Tyler Heath.
The Warriors travel to St. Augustine on Wednesday to play Flagler College at 2 p.m.
