Two Warriors Named All-Conference in Men's Tennis

Babson Park, Fla. – At the Annual Tennis Awards Banquet for The Sun Conference, two Warriors tennis players were honored by being picked for the All-Conference Second Team.
The two honored were: Philippe Andermatt, a senior from Switzerland and Rafael Teixeira, a junior from Brazil.
Teixeira played #1 singles and #2 doubles in the WIU line-up this season. Andermatt played #2 singles and #1 doubles for the Warriors.
“I was very proud to see these two young men honored this year,” stated Coach Heath. “They both are not only good tennis players, but they excel in the classroom. This was much more exciting than last year when none of our players were recognized,” said Heath.
