Another Basketball Season Comes to an End

Babson Park, Fla. – The men’s basketball program finalized the ending of their 2009-2010 season this afternoon, (Saturday, April 71th), in the Rex R. Yentes Center, on the WIU Campus.
The afternoon was shared with friends and family who gathered to say their last congratulations and farewells, to the graduating seniors, was we as to take one last glimpse at an outstanding year for these young men.
Receiving awards on the junior varsity side was Taula Koloamatangi receiving Most Valuable Player; Al Wray and James Fowler both received the Coaches Award.
On the varsity side Luke Marlar received defensive player, Most Improved was awarded to Mike Bonilla, Tyrell Harper received the award for Champion of Character, Mark Marlar was awarded the Coaches Award, and Co-MVP was awarded to Halston Schaffer and Tyler Hoevenaar.
To close the night the coaches recognized the graduating seniors. They are: Halston Schaffer, who finished 5th in all time scorer and 3rd in rebounds at Webber, Gregory St. Remy, Mark Marlar, Andrew Leonard, Igor Englendzija and Tyrell Harper.
