Babson Park, Fla. – Webber International’s men’s and women’s bowling team closed out another amazing season last night (Wednesday, April 21st) in the Rex R. Yentes Center.
Gathered together one last time before the end of another school year and each player parts in their separate ways for summer, the men’s and women’s bowling team shared memories and took a glimpse down memory lane acknowledging both teams season accomplishments.
For the coaches, they not only expressed their appreciation for all the hard work and dedication the players have put forth this season, but they also recognized a few standouts on the team.
Receiving the Patient and Present award for the men was Gary Faulkner Jr., and for the women, Brittany Mari. Accepting the Striving for Excellence for the men was Marcelo Suartz, and Haley Beavis for the women. Constant Learning was received by Cruz Webster for the men and Jessica Santiago for the women. Most Improved Player was awarded to Miguel Diaz and Stephanie Martins.
The coaches also honored Miguel Diaz by dedicating a book scholarship in his name that was awarded to its first recipient and teammate Marcelo Suartz.
