The Webber Beach Team Heads to Santa Barbara to Play alongside the AVP

Babson Park, Fla. - On May 1st and 2nd Trisha Belcher and Noelle Bay will be heading west to the beautiful beaches of Santa Barbara to compete against some of the best collegiate players in the country.
On the California coast CBS is teaming up with the AVP to host the 2010 Alt Games Collegiate Beach Volleyball Championships. The girls will be one of 12 beach teams competing for the top spot.
The teams include players from some of the highest ranked NCAA schools in the country and include: #3 University of Hawaii, #8 California, #14 UCLA, and #10 University of Illinois.
All of the college athletes and their coaches will enjoy a weekend of being treated like the AVP pros, playing alongside their courts with access to massage tables, food tents and front row AVP player seating for the event.
On Friday the teams will be set up into three pools which will determine their seating for the rest of the weekend. After pool play the girls will go into a double elimination round where they will battle it out to determine who will be crowned the 2010 Collegiate Beach Volleyball National Champions and receive entry into AVPs Huntington Beach AVP Open in August.
