Babson Park, Fla. –WIU's Cheerleading coaching staff welcomes Bethany Nyberg to the 2010-2011 Cheerleading Team.

Nyberg comes to the Warriors all the way from Edward Little High School, in Auburn Maine.

She's an accomplished athlete, receiving awards such as: NCAA All American Nominee, Edward Little Cheering Team Captain (for football and competition season in 2010), the Spirit Award and Strongest Tumbler Award on the Edward Water Cheering Team and the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class “A” All Conference Cheering Team 2010.

“We are excited to have Bethany on our squad this year,” stated coach Gunn, “She has a great student athlete with a great personality, and we think she will fit well into our cheer program,” added Gunn

"The Webber Cheerleading program is still looking for both men and women to join the 2010-2011 season.
