Babson Park, Fla. – The NAIA has announced that 91 men's golf players have been named 2010 Daktronics –NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic stats to qualify for this honor.
Webber International University had one golfer that was named to receive this prestigious honor. Rodrigo Hernandez, a junior from Soria, Spain.
“Rodrigo is an extremely hard working young man that has a bright future ahead of him,” stated Coach
Nancy Nichols. “We are proud of him and is a wonderful representative for our golf program and our University,” added Nichols.
