Triathlon is set for Aug. 1 at WIU

BABSON PARK - The third annual Scenic 17 Sprint Triathlon will be held Aug. 1, at Webber International University.
The triathlon consists of a 1/4-mile swim, 15-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run. The triathlon will begin at 7 a.m.
The entry fee before June 1 is $55 for individuals, $120 for teams; after June 1 the fee is $65 for individuals and $140 per team; and after July 26 the fee will be $70 for individuals and $150 per team.
Participants who are not members of the USA Triathlon must pay a one-day $10 fee.
