Babson Park, Fla. – Coach Tim Edfors, Volleyball Coach at Webber International University, is in Hawaii coaching a team comprised of high school age girls from the Southeastern United States.
Edfors has coached the Lady Warriors for five years and this is his second trip to Hawaii to coach a regional team in the King Kamehameha Volleyball Classic. When Edfors took the last team, three years ago, they placed fourth out of 72 teams.
“This year I am hoping to bring back the championship trophy,” stated Edfors. “What a great opportunity for these young ladies, to be able to compete against players from all over the country and be in an environment that is awesome,” added Edfors.
Besides playing volleyball, all the players have the opportunity to tour the island, enjoy an authentic luau, and have time to enjoy the beaches.
