Webber International University Athletics

Babson Park, Fla. - Kevin Templeton (Lutz, FL) signed his letter of intent to join the Webber International University Men’s Basketball team. Templeton is transferring to Webber after attending Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi for one year.

 

During his prep career at Tampa Bay Technical High School Templeton averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds per game and was named a UNCF All Star. Templeton made a name for himself with his defensive play and ability to shoot from the perimeter (at 6’5”, 180 lbs). During his senior year Templeton attended the Dodge Dealer 5-Star Shootout in Tallahassee, Florida where he made an impression by scoring 28 points in a single game.

 

“Kevin is a hard worker that has a desire to compete and get better each day,” stated Head Coach John Shoffner. “Thank you Coach Shoffner and Coach Rader for giving me the opportunity to be a member of the team,” Templeton stated. He continued by saying “I am very excited about attending Webber this fall and look forward to the upcoming basketball season.”
