Babson Park, Fla. - A group of kids from Janie Howard Wilson Elementary visited the campus of Webber International University where they were greeted by the Men's Basketball team as a part of the Bug Club interaction group between the players and the young men from JHW Elementary. The Bug Club is a mentor program that provides WIU Men's Basketball Team the opportunity to counsel the elementary kids in an attempt to improve their grades and provide guidance to them on a weekly basis.

The kids were able to experience a scrimmage between the Junior Varsity Teams of WIU and then they played a game amongst themselves then they were later served with lunch and refreshments. They were also provided with a tour around WIU campus by players and coaches from the basketball program. 

The group of kids included 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th graders and they were delighted about the opportunity to visit their mentors on campus for the very first time. WIU Men's Basketball players usually visit JHW Elementary every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. to assist the kids with school but this time the elementary school saw it fit that the kids were given the chance to come spend time with the players and coaches at the university.
