Head Coach Julie Mulder

Julie Mulder was born and raised in Croton Falls, NY and graduated from North Salem High School.  While there, she was a four year varsity starter on her volleyball, basketball and softball teams.  She received both All-League and All-Conference honors in each of these sports, and was named Top Female Athlete in her senior year.  Following high school, Mulder received a softball scholarship to St. Leo College where she was a four year starter as a pitcher and 3rd baseman.  During her time with the Lions, she garnered All Conference and All Region honors, and was named to the All American honorable mention list in 1991.

After graduating from St. Leo, Mulder gained coaching experience through various realms including Little League, High School and Travel softball.  She also coached girls’ basketball and volleyball at the high school level, and served as an assistant coach for the Webber volleyball, basketball and softball teams at various times during the last few years.  Mulder also lead the 18U Stunners, a softball travel team, who qualified for the Summer National Championships three consecutive years finishing fourth, third and second respectively.  During this time, Mulder was also the assistant varsity coach for the Frostproof High School softball program.  In 2004, Mulder took over the high school program and lead the team to the Class 3A District 10 Championship and Regional semi-finals in both ‘04 and ‘05.  She was named the District Coach of the Year both years as well.

In 2006, Mulder’s Frostproof Lady Bulldogs finally advance beyond the regional semi-finals and went on to win the FHSAA Class 3A State Championship.  In response to her teams’ success, Mulder received the FHSAA/FACA State Coach of the Year award for Class 3A, and was the runner-up in the Florida Dairy Farmers Softball Coach of the Year for All Classes.

Coach Mulder is in her second year at Webber and is hoping to improve upon last year’s record of 25-19 and a regional runner up finish.  She resides in Babson Park, is a special education teacher at Frostproof MSHS, and has two sons, Joshua (15) and Dustin (11).
