BULLET PROOF ATHLETES

A Glimpse At How WARRIORS Train

PRELOAD!
SETTING THE FOUNDATION

The first step in the Webber Strength & Conditioning Program is to improve core strength and the execution of proper exercise technique while correcting dysfunction and muscular imbalances. Making our athletes function more efficiently will bring immediate results that will translate directly over to their performance. When combined with an emphasis on general physical preparation (GPP), this initial stage of our program will set a solid foundation from an injury prevention standpoint & will also serve as a starting block into our next step:

EXPLODE!
GETTING STRONGER & MORE EXPLOSIVE

The main focal point of the Webber Strength & Conditioning Program is to constantly challenge our athletes to expand their potential each day. Through programs specifically designed around individual and team strengths and weaknesses, we focus each day on improving the strength, power, speed, agility, acceleration, endurance, flexibility, conditioning, and regeneration components of our athletes. While improving these physical abilities, our staff also seeks to instill in our athletes components such as a proper nutrition and supplementation base, a strong work ethic, mental toughness, commitment, discipline, team pride, faith, and a positive attitude throughout the varying intensity of the workouts and through constant communication both during and away from training sessions.

RELOAD!
GETTING BACK IN THE GAME

Although both our Strength & Conditioning staff and our Athletic Training staff make efforts to prevent our athletes from incurring an injury, these unfortunate events do occur with every sport.  When an injury does transpire, the Athletic Training staff and Strength & Conditioning staff work diligently to implement an individualized rehabilitation program to ensure that the athlete’s time spent away from competition in their sport is kept to a minimum.
